We’re a small, year-round Microschool for grades K–5th. Each small class will be led by a certified elementary teacher, with a focus on hands-on learning, creativity, confidence-building, and age-appropriate academics.
Our mission is to provide a warm, engaging, and personalized learning environment where students of all ages are encouraged to think critically, explore freely, and grow confidently. As a small, student-centered Microschool, we emphasize meaningful academics, social-emotional development, and a strong sense of community. We believe every learner deserves an education that meets them where they are and supports them in becoming who they are meant to be by cultivating confidence, courage, and independence, both in school and beyond!
MY WHY
Hi, I’m Alex! I’m a mom of two, and my oldest is just reaching school age. Like many parents, I started looking at our options and realized that traditional public and private schools didn’t feel like the right fit for our family. I wanted something more flexible, more nurturing — a place where my daughter can learn in a way that supports who she is, not just what she can do. While I love the idea of homeschooling, I knew I couldn’t do it all on my own. That’s why I’m opening a certified Microschool — a warm learning environment led by certified elementary school teachers who are stepping out of the traditional system to teach in a more meaningful way.
Our vision is to build something small but special — a space that feels like home, where kids are known, supported, and free to learn in ways that make sense for them. We’re starting with enrollment for K-5th, and hope to grow naturally with like-minded families who want something different too!
ABOUT OUR LOCATION
Murray Meadow Academy is thrilled to have secured a location! We are currently pouring lots of care, creativity, and TLC into this charming schoolhouse and property as we prepare it to become a warm, welcoming learning environment for our students.
While we’re in the transformation phase, we invite families to trust the process—this space holds incredible potential, and we can’t wait to bring our vision to life. From cozy classrooms to thoughtful outdoor spaces, this location will soon reflect the heart and values of Murray Meadow Academy.
Our classrooms are designed with kids in mind!
- 2 elementary rooms that balance focus, collaboration, and small-group learning.
- A cozy 3-4 yo room that feels just right for our youngest learners.
- An enrichment space for hands-on projects, movement, and creative fun.
Outside, adventure awaits!
- A safe, fenced patio for outdoor play and group activities.
- Plans for a fully fenced in play and exploration area under three gorgeous oak trees, perfect for curiosity and imagination to run wild.
Designed for families, too:
- A circular driveway for easy drop-off and pick-up.
- Plenty of parking to keep mornings and afternoons calm and stress-free.
